Sealion II

Shockingly, I have had requests. (The requests were not shocking, except that they were made.)

One was for "anything". Here is something. That was easy.

The other was for my thoughts on the Police reuniting. This is more difficult, because I haven't thought much about it, except to say, "Wow. I would go to that concert, but I'll bet it will be a lot of money."

It's really kinda surprising that it took them this long, considering the financial incentives. But I think bands are kinda like fairy-dysfunctional families in a lot of ways; after a while everyone is sick of each other and they'd just as soon not see each other for, well, a few decades. Just to let the radioactivity decay a bit after the thermonuclear war that ended it all.

Nuclear power--for both good and ill.

With which dubious metaphor, I give the Police a cautious thumbs-up, because, really, why not?

And if I actually think of anything worth saying on the subject, this space will be the first to show it.
